Website chat: how we handle your information

Who you're talking to

The chat on this site is an AI assistant run for Frostvale Heating & Air (Demo). It answers from the business's own information. A person from the business follows up on requests.

What we collect

The messages you type, and any contact details you choose to share (name, phone number, email, address, what you need). We also record a random chat ID, your IP address and browser type to prevent abuse.

What we don't want

Please don't share card numbers, bank details or passwords in the chat. If you do, they are removed automatically and not stored.

How it's used

To answer your questions and so the business can contact you about your request. Your messages are processed by an AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate replies, and stored on Cloudflare's servers. Contact details you share are emailed to the business. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Chat logs are kept for up to 12 months for quality and safety review, then deleted. Ask us any time to delete your chat or contact details sooner.
